Delete Your SteerSafe Account

At SteerSafe, users have full control over their account and personal data. If you no longer wish to use SteerSafe, you can permanently delete your account directly from the SteerSafe mobile application.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account from inside the app by following these steps:

  1. Open the SteerSafe app.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Select Delete Account.

  5. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

This option is available for both:

  • SteerSafe Customer accounts

  • SteerSafe Driver accounts

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you confirm account deletion, your SteerSafe account will be permanently deleted. This includes deleting the personal information associated with your account, such as your profile details and account access.

After deletion, you will no longer be able to log in to the account or use SteerSafe services with that account.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Driver Accounts

If you are a SteerSafe driver, deleting your account will permanently remove your driver profile and access to the driver application.

Please note that some information may need to be retained where required by law, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial reporting, or regulatory obligations.

Customer Accounts

If you are a SteerSafe customer, deleting your account will permanently remove your customer profile and access to the customer application.

Please note that some information may need to be retained where required by law, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial reporting, or regulatory obligations.

Data We May Retain

Although your account will be permanently deleted, SteerSafe may retain limited records when necessary for legitimate legal, safety, security, payment, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes.

This may include records related to completed trips, payments, safety incidents, support requests, driver verification, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Any retained information will only be kept for as long as necessary for the purpose it was retained.
